Maybe in a museum where you require 1 minute of chatting with some background music for some atmospere and then 7 minutes of silence to give visitors time to more on and then repeat the same to a fresh batch of visitors. Or continuous 7 mins the same, music, anything.

Tape running speeds may slightly vary the 7 minutes to more or less time so a little practice may be needed to get the loop/program timing spot on!

One side only for both record and playback, the shell has a warning on the side not to use.
