25 x Chrome high Bias cassette tapes to recycle
Recorded onto both sides
Type 2 chrome High Bias all varying tape lengths from short 10 mins to 90 mins but most around 20-55 mins
25 x mixed colours but mostly clear or white shells, some black. White cassette label affixed to one side, with small amount of writing on but marked out except for a very helpful note of the tape length. Please note the tape length shown will be both sides together and show as minutes and seconds. Example, if it says written in ink on the label C53:24 that means it is a C53+ a bit, 53 minutes and 24 seconds in total which means 26minutes and 42 seconds available on each side.
Shells are type 2 with chrome notches. The shells were all record tabs in place but many were punched out after the first recording. Important, Please Note: When recording over these tapes on a domestic tape recorder you will need to cover up the hole where the 'record tab' was punched out, however with these shells being chrome type 2 with the chrome recess at the side of the 'tab out' recess you need to be careful only to cover up (with sticky tape) half the hole. The half nearer the edge. On both left and right sides if recording onto both sides. Please see the picture showing black sticky tape to spot the right position. This will enable your deck to select the correct bias setting for type 2 tape. It you have manual tape type selector (you're on of the lucky ones!) then the position of that piece of sticky tape is not that important but be sure to select 'type 2' or 'high Bias' or 'Chrome' on your knob/switch.
Today any new chrome cassette tape would cost between £1 and £2 at least and these are now blank ready to use. They were originally our customer edited master tapes or sample copies or back up masters for our 'in cassette' duplicated service and may have been played several times. They will be high quality although we cannot specify the manufactuer or grade of chrome tape. They will be various brands including BASF, SunkYong SKM, Maxell and Samsung to name the most likely brands
purchasing a quantity of 1 here gets 25 x erased blank chrome cassettes of various mixed sizes, mostly white or clear with record tabs mostly out and all chrome notches present
